NFC (near-field communication) allows two devices placed within a few centimetres of each other to exchange data. You can typically find this embedded in things like commuter cards, print advertisements, and smart cards.
In the same way that you use your credit card to tap-and-pay, when you see a JobGetter sticker in your favourite cafe or shop simply tap your smartphone to join the relevant company or industry job network. And if they're hiring, you can also see that business's current jobs and apply with just one tap - anywhere, anytime.
This technology is now placed in Android phones, Windows phones and Apple's iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch. However, until Apple unlocks their NFC capability, you're only able to tap on JobGetter stickers with your Android or Windows phone. You may also need to ensure that you have the NFC capability turned on in your smartphone settings.
